Compliance with legislation through ventilation condition and risk assessment surveys which are scored and weighted
AirisQ Limited - Risk Assessment Service and Survey
With limited risk assessment, service, building and property managers are assured that they will meet the requirements of current legislation with respect to indoor air quality. These are principally the Approved Codes of Practice L21 Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and L24 Workplace Health Safety and Welfare Regulations 1992, which states:
"Mechanical ventilation systems (including air conditioning systems) should be regularly and properly cleaned, tested and maintained to ensure that they are kept clean and free from anything which may contaminate the air"
Risk assessment - The assessment covers air quality entering the workplace via the ventilation system. A condition survey of air handling plant and associated ducted systems are undertaken. Monitoring for bacteria, fungi and dust thickness will allow AirisQ Limited to show the level of contamination present and identify any risks associated with a system. A scored and weighted risk analysis will ensure compliance to legislation and also current best practice.
