Peter Twynam & Richard Barry are the directors of AirisQ Limited and provide direct customer interface bringing over 30 years experience between them in field of air and ventilation hygiene.
Richard Barry BSc (Hons) - As a graduate trainee after obtaining a BSc in chemical engineering Richard worked in London as a water hygiene and treatment engineer. He moved into air and ventilation hygiene in 1993 working for Peter Twynam as a senior technical sales executive in southeast England. Customer site surveys and assessment services were developed through this period to provide a full consultancy package. Richard’s level of experience, knowledge and skills continued development through “hands-on” contract management, with participation in the current UK standards as an active member of the HVCA ventilation hygiene policy group.
During the last two years of employment, prior to the formation of AirisQ Limited in August 2001, Richard worked as a senior manager of a new company (formerly the air and ventilation hygiene business unit of Houseman/Aquazur) this involved most aspects of setting up, running and developing a new growth business.
Peter Twynam - Peter initially worked within the market of indoor air quality and pollution monitoring equipment to a wide range of industries and occupational hygiene consultants throughout the UK. During this period promotion through the organisation was achieved from technical sales into management. For the past fifteen years indoor air quality and ventilation hygiene has been the mainframe of Peter’s experience. He developed new products and services providing ventilation and air hygiene services to a large customer base.
Prior to the formation of AirisQ Limited in August 2001, Peter held senior positions within an air and ventilation hygiene business as both UK sales and UK operations manager. His responsibilities included health and safety and contract management with a team of over 30 members of staff.
